FRUKOSTBLANDING (Granola Cereal)

Preparation time: 20 mins.
Cooking time: 20 mins.

Ingredients:
125 g rolled oats
125 g sesame seeds
125g linseeds
125 g sunflower seeds
125 g mixed nuts (almonds, hazelnuts etc) chopped
125 g raisins
250 ml sunflower or olive oil
200 g honey

Method:

  1. heat oil and honey together until honey has melted.
  2. Place the oats, sesame seeds, linseeds, and sunflower seeds in a bowl and pour the honey and oil mixture over. Stir well.
  3. Spread this mixture in a tray and roast in 180 deg. oven until golden brown. Stir the mixture so that it does not burn.
  4. Remove from oven, cool well before mixing in the nuts and raisins.
  5. Store in airtight containers.
Serve as a breakfast cereal with cold milk or yoghurt and stewed fruit.
