Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
250 gms butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup oats
1 cup cocoa
1 cup flour (a little more if the dough is too soft)
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips (Save some for decorating)

Method:

  1. Beat butter and brown sugar, and add in egg. Mix well.
  2. Mix the flour, oats, cocoa, and baking soda. Mix in little by little.
  3. If the dough is too soft, add in a little more flour. Add in chocolate chips.
  4. The dough should be soft to the touch, but should not stick to your finger when touched.
  5. Place a little dough on a plastic sheet. Place another plastic sheet on top of it and roll out to the required thickness.
  6. Preheat oven to 180oC.
  7. Cut into heart shapes and place on a greased cookie sheet and decorate with chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
