
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
250 gms butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup oats
1 cup cocoa
1 cup flour (a little more if the dough is too soft)
1 tsp baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips (Save some for decorating)

2 cups chocolate chips (Save some for decorating)
Method:
- Beat butter and brown sugar, and add in egg. Mix well.
- Mix the flour, oats, cocoa, and baking soda. Mix in little by little.
- If the dough is too soft, add in a little more flour. Add in chocolate chips.
- The dough should be soft to the touch, but should not stick to your finger when touched.
- Place a little dough on a plastic sheet. Place another plastic sheet on top of it and roll out to the required thickness.
- Preheat oven to 180oC.
- Cut into heart shapes and place on a greased cookie sheet and decorate with chocolate chips.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
